A dedicated and driven rural surveyor with a passion for management of rural property portfolios.

Alex’s proactive approach to his work ensures that services are delivered to clients punctually but with a high attention to detail. 

Alex specialises in strategic estate management, including for a number of Cambridge colleges, two Church of England Dioceses, and a range of other institutional and charitable landowners.

As Bidwells’ main point of contact for a number of clients, he provides strategic advice to ensure that defined objectives are met and exceeded.  This has included rationalisation of portfolios, enhancing rental returns, sales and reinvestment, and reducing management liabilities across let properties.

Due to the nature of the portfolios that he is involved with, which include a wide range of rural, residential, and commercial properties, Alex also advises clients on a range of professional matters, including landlord and tenant, alternative uses of property, disposal and acquisition, and other management matters.

He also works closely alongside the planning and residential development teams in the identification and delivery of development sites from managed portfolios.
Alex is an RICS Registered Valuer and has experience of valuing a range of rural properties.
