2021 saw the Norwich office market experience the highest pace of take up in five years. The strength of demand looks set to continue into 2022, with a significant rise in requirements, which is likely to absorb much of the available grade A space over the coming months.

Requirements reflect the growing depth of the business base in Norwich in particular, across both technology R&D, but also life, food and agri science. This will feed future office and lab space demand, but rising rents will need to spur the delivery of new stock to accommodate the city’s burgeoning science and tech economy.
