The second half of 2021 saw a strong rebound in the Central London office market following the pandemic period. An expansion in the tech sector accelerated the pace of take up ahead of trend levels.

The life science sector also increased in its representation. Planning consents on further laboratory floorspace will build critical mass in the capital and help satisfy growing investor demand for the sector. Several significant life science purchases boosted activity in the Central London investment market, with particular focus on the core science and tech clusters across the city.
