While Milton Keynes has felt the impact of corporate uncertainty over future occupational strategies, the city is facing a severe shortage of Grade A office space. Supply stands close to a historic low and a large proportion of the available floorspace was already under offer going into 2022.

The dearth of quality offices is placing pressure on rents, including secondary stock, spurring further refurbishment activity. Requirements for high quality space will persist, particularly as the arrival of Unity Place, Santander’s UK HQ and tech hub, reinforces the city’s position as a tech cluster.
