Strong take up activity driven by traditional industrial occupiers

Strong take up activity driven by traditional industrial occupiers

Take up of industrial and logistics space across Cambridge improved on 2023 levels, with demand levels remaining stable. The balance of requirements remains biased towards traditional industrial occupiers, but the supply of such space is severely restricted, with Grade A supply at its lowest level since 2021 and nearly a third of available space under offer at the end of 2024. Businesses are challenged in finding affordable space with prime industrial rents up by 37% over the last five years and mid tech rents up 81% over the same period.
