Our latest Databook provides an update on the Cambridgeshire Industrial Market

The growth of Cambridge’s science and tech cluster and low levels of new industrial development mean that demand far exceeds supply.  Total requirements for industrial space in Cambridgeshire were six times higher than the amount of available space at end-June 2024.  There is a particular shortage of units >50,000 sq ft and this raises the possibility that some “non-science” occupiers will start to look elsewhere.  Prime industrial rentals are likely to start rising again in 2025, following a pause this year.
