Following a challenging winter period of lockdown, and as we now navigate post-lockdown, we undertook the second series of surveys to understand how households in Cambridge feel about their homes.

In December 2020, as we entered the challenging winter period of lockdown, we undertook the second in a series of surveys, examining how households in Cambridge feel about their homes.

As part of this study we investigated attitudes toward people’s homes given their pandemic experiences and built a picture of intentions to move in the wake of lockdown experiences.

The study uncovered both a shift in attitudes with a preference for space over other priorities, with many respondents reporting an intention to move to achieve these aspirations.
