While office take up in Milton Keynes in 2024 was below trend, the H2 saw improved activity levels, with an uptick in requirements going into 2025. Nearly 40% of this demand originates from outside the city, with a range of sectors looking to take advantage of the skills, housing and the relatively affordable business space on offer.

The tech sector, which was heavily represented in take up, is well represented and is likely to benefit further from the skills and city focus on AI and associated expertise. The start of East-West Rail services to Oxford this year will add to Milton Keynes occupier appeal.
