While Norwich total office take up slipped slightly in 2024, there was a record number of lettings. The volume of sub 10k sq ft requirements remain resilient, with the science sector reflected in further lab lettings following the delivery of space at the Ella May Barnes building at Norwich Research Park.

The commitment of further lab space on the Park will support the evolving science ecosystem, supported by a modest but growing financing backdrop. The cluster’s R&D expertise across the food, agriculture and life science sectors is attracting investor attention.
