Bidwells Secures Deal of the Year Award for One Cambridge Square

Bidwells won Deal of the Year category for their pivotal role in securing Samsung as a landmark tenant at One Cambridge Square. The deal saw Samsung pre-let 34,036 sq ft of grade-A, BREEAM Excellent office and lab space in Q2 2023, occupying the top three floors of this new development. 

One Cambridge Square, located at the heart of a new, vibrant, mixed-use urban environment in Cambridge North, offers a total of 95,000 sq ft of contemporary office space. The development is designed to enable flexible working and fit-out into collaborative zones, making it an attractive proposition for innovative businesses in the science and technology sector.

This deal is one of five we have completed in the building over the past year that have secured 70,495 sq ft of office lettings at One Cambridge Square, more than any other office building in Cambridge over the past year and providing a great mix of occupiers at Cambridge North that will grow as location with further offices and laboratories planned that have recently secured planning consent." 

The award-winning development features retail outlets on the ground floor, open areas for meeting and relaxation, and immediate access to Cambridge North train station and landscaped green spaces. Its BREEAM Excellent certification further emphasises the commitment to sustainability and employee wellbeing. 

The Eastern Echo Awards, which brought together over 200 industry professionals, celebrates outstanding achievements and developments in the property market across the East of England. The ceremony was held at Homerton College, University of Cambridge.
