This September will mark eight years since the world embraced the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

The SDGs or Global Goals reflect a shared objective and ambition across all member states. They represent the biggest challenges of our time and reflect the interests of critical stakeholders such as local communities, employees, clients, investors, regulators and the environment.

Bidwells are joining hundreds of businesses, government departments and civil society organisations in a global movement by lifting the SDG flag to raise awareness of the SDGs and mobilise action.

Why we are flying the SDG flag at Bidwells

The SDGs provide us with a mandate to achieve our Environmental, Social and Governance goals and highlight our actions to combat significant global challenges. Bidwell's ESG strategy, launched in 2022, highlights the areas where we feel we can contribute most to the SDGs. We hope that by raising the SDG flag and linking our day-to-day activity to the sometimes overwhelming global goals, we can increase awareness of the goals we work to achieve.
