Lincoln South East Quadrant

Image of Lincoln south

Bidwells have been instructed by the Landowner of The Lincoln South East Quadrant urban extension.

The SEQ lies on the limestone plateau affording a unique vista of the centre of Lincoln and its Cathedral and castle and is only 1.6 kms from the commercial heart of the city between the villages of Bracebridge Heath and Canwick.

The land is allocated in the Central Lincolnshire Local Plan (adopted in April 2023) for up to 6,000 homes, a district centre, schools, community facilities, commercial development and open space and recreation.

The development is guided by a broad concept plan and design codes with permission already in place for just over 1,500 dwellings.

The site has excellent access to the city centre by public transport, active travel modes or by private car.  The station provides train services to London, Nottingham and Doncaster.  The accessibility is further enhanced by the recently opened A15 Lincoln Eastern Bypass and will benefit from the completion of the proposed North Hykeham Relief Road that will complete the ring road around Lincoln.

The site also provides easy access by car to the Lincolnshire countryside and attractions.
