Amy is one of only 178 building conservation specialists in the UK accredited by the RICS.

She not only works with heritage buildings by balancing historical significance with contemporary requirements - her career has been devoted to the historic built environment and innovative problem-solving. As a specialist in heritage, she also addresses technical challenges and establishes long-term sustainability and decarbonisation goals for her clients.

Amy oversees financials, health and safety, and the technical aspects of conservation, all while seeking new opportunities to push the field forward. Her approach is hands-on and strategic, whether she’s managing risk, assessing business cases, or steering complex heritage projects.

Her passion runs deeper than the building fabric. Amy is fascinated by the people behind the buildings - their history, their impact, and how the buildings have evolved. She brings an holistic perspective into everything she does, drawing from her time at English Heritage, where she worked closely with curators and developed a client-focused approach that sets her apart.

Amy is also a mentor and shares her knowledge to help others carve out careers in heritage. She’s also creating an internal forum where professionals can collaborate, ensuring heritage challenges are met with collective expertise. For Amy, heritage isn’t just a job - it’s a passion, and she’s making sure it has a sustainable future.
