Specialising in long-term forest plans, tree health, and silviculture, Eelco is also competent in the use of GIS. His day-to-day responsibilities span comprehensive forest management, the seamless delivery of harvesting operations, woodland creation, and re-establishment efforts. 

His dedication is fuelled by immersing himself in land management and witnessing the tangible improvements to landscapes and biodiversity. The sense of purpose he finds in enhancing the countryside is testament to his love for what he does and observing the positive changes and sustainable practices that the industry champions.

Eelco also thrives on balancing the multi-faceted needs of society - delivering a sustainable resource while improving biodiversity, recreational opportunities, and benefits to the local economy. 

Beyond his professional achievements, Eelco serves as a trustee for the John Muir Trust.
