An experienced conservation officer turned principal heritage consultant.

Driven, enthusiastic, and assertive - Katherine is a consultant who transcends the boundary between local councils, the private sector and her clients.

Katherine spent nine years working as a conservation officer, this allows her to see both sides of a project and efficiently deliver practical and detailed advice. She worked at a Historical Building Surveyors, where she learnt the finer details of historic building construction, conservation and restoration. This provided her with an excellent understanding of historic building materials and the importance of their continued use in the context of historic buildings.

From working with Oxford University Colleges to advising on the restoration of privately owned heritage assets, churches and the estates such as Blenheim Palace – Katherine has worked on a plethora of projects. Currently she is advising on a number of Masterplans within Oxford.

She holds a Level 3 Award in Energy Efficiency for Older and Traditional Buildings and is an active committee member for Thames Valley Women in Planning. Katherine is passionate about environmental sustainability and actively promotes it in her projects.
