William is a project manager working on new-builds, refurbishments and fit-outs for clients in academia, science and technology.

With a background working for a contractor, William builds strong relationships with teams and has ‘on-the-ground’ experience of setting-up sites, allowing for a collaborative approach and the smooth running of projects.

From city centre listed buildings to new laboratories on science parks, William particularly enjoys the technical design and construction stages, and contract administration. With a razor-sharp eye for detail, he reviews and administers project documentation with a comprehensive understanding of the cost and programme implications for his clients.

William’s organisational skills have led to his key involvement on the Portway Building at Granta Park, comprising the complete gutting of the building internals to leave the shell, which was fitted-out to create a four-block laboratory and office space, providing a multi-let blank canvas for incoming tenants. While at Babraham Research Park, William worked on creating temporary lab space for bit.bio within just two months, completing a full fit-out of their permanent space ready for them to move in four months later.

For Pembroke College, he is project managing a mix of new-builds and refurbishments of listed buildings, creating lecture rooms, cultural spaces, breakout areas and student accommodation.
