An impressive planning strategy for 4,000 new homes, schools, a park, community facilities and a new link road in Attleborough.
We were instructed at the very early stages of this project to secure a landowners' collaboration agreement to promote the land and seek allocation from the Council's Development Plan. Drawing on our expert knowledge of the market, we orchestrated a compelling planning strategy and spent years preparing a successful application.
A key reason for this project’s success was active engagement with the community and local stakeholders. For a project of this scale, the Environmental Impact Assessment was a vital part of the planning application and we managed the complex requirements that the Council and community expected.
The strength of our cross-divisional knowledge ensured the client received access to a range of services, including design and technical support and insight from the residential team. The project also benefited from our close working relationship with the Local Planning Authority and innate knowledge of the region.
A significant project that took over a decade, we achieved unanimous approval to grant outline planning permission. A huge accomplishment for the client, we strategically promoted land that wasn't initially identified in the Local Plan to securing consent for building 4,000 homes.
