Bedford School, New Academic Building

We reviewed the previous designs, and what they had tried to achieve, along with the heritage officer’s comments, and together with Sterling Prize award-winning architect, Niall McLaughlin Architects, came up with a planning strategy for a well-designed building in a conservation area whilst identifying the significance of its surrounding buildings.

The design we submitted revealed views of the Grade II Listed building and received positive feedback from the conservation officer at pre-app stage.
