Biodiversity, Nature Reserve and Farm Opportunity Analysis

One of the largest Wildlife Trusts in the country, The Berks, Bucks and Oxon Wildlife Trust (BBOWT) owns and operates over 85 nature reserves. For the client, we identify opportunities across the three counties, undertaking searches for land that can contribute to nature recovery networks with potential for significant environmental outcomes, and advising on different acquisition structures such as joint ventures, lease or purchase.

We strategically look for opportunities to expand existing nature reserves, increase farm portfolios and establish biodiversity net gain schemes across the regions.

In an ongoing partnership, we complete Land Registry searches, profile landowners and identify prospective partners. Additionally, we conduct landowner approaches and assist with correspondence between agents and institutions.  Drawing on our expertise, we clearly illustrate the benefits and possibilities that a collaboration with our client would offer to prospective individuals.

Throughout the process, we also assess the likely value of prospective sites, advise on the potential to generate income and future land management that will be required.
