A unique social venue and event space, we were instructed to secure a location for the client’s growing portfolio. An in-demand site for several businesses, we developed an excellent strategy that secured a lease agreement and planning permission for our client.

A unique social venue and event space, we were instructed to secure a location for the client’s growing portfolio. An in-demand site for several businesses, we developed an excellent strategy that secured a lease agreement and planning permission for our client.

As a long-standing client, we have been involved in opening all seven Flight Clubs across the UK, but this was the first location outside of London and required an aggressive acquisition programme due to the popularity of the site.

The building required substantial refurbishment that was sensitive to the historic nature of the building, as well as a change of use to leisure use. Our specialist knowledge and strategic advice was crucial to achieve planning permission.

Drawing on our expert knowledge of planning for the hospitality trade, we achieved permission and listed building consent to meet the purchase agreement deadline.

The client's occupation of the building was conditional upon achieving planning permission and the relevant licensing. We worked closely with them on contract negotiation, advising them on the lease agreement and confirming that it was a viable option for their specific needs.
