Thorpe le Soken housing development

The planning application demonstrated how the development would revitalize the space and proposed a design concept that was very sympathetic to existing dwellings in the region. The village is in a conservation area and features many historic houses, which inspired the architecture of the new development. Additionally, the layout of the site mirrors that of a traditional village street, complete with green spaces and public paths. 

Due to the biodiverse nature of the site, the planning application included a 'newt corridor' under the new road, along with a pond. The housing scheme revitalized the allotments sites (that are now legally protected) and serviced them with water and parking facilities.
