Landscape scale biodiversity net gain initiative within the Cambridgeshire Fens generating over 520 biodiversity units.

• Overview

  The site is located 1.5 miles from the Great Fen project and will see the creation and ehancement of a variety of habitats, contributing to strategic priorities across the landscape.

  The biodiversity baseline and Habitat Management and Monitoring Plan have been completed for this scheme.

• Developers can secure biodiversity units for the following habitat types:

  • Grassland habitats of medium to very high distinctiveness
  • Heathland and shrub habitats of medium distinctiveness
  • Woodland habitats of medium distinctiveness
  • Lake habitats of medium distinctiveness
  • Individual trees of medium distinctiveness
  • Hedgerow habitats of medium distinctiveness
